White Pine Fork - Little Cottonwood Canyon

Pictures taken from three different hikes up White Pine Fork. The first hike on 06-25-06 was for the purpose of finalizing the rehab of a back injury that I suffered about a month prior. As I did not want to tempt fate and chance setting my injury back, I did not complete the final snow scramble along the steeper sections of the hillside to the lake. One good slip would have put me back in physical therapy and prolonged my hiking adventures even longer. The second hike on 07-23-06 was to scout out a geocache called "View of 4 Lakes" high atop the ridge to the west of White Pine Reservoir. Understandably there is a route to the top of the ridge from this side, but alas, it eluded me. The third hike on 08-05-06 was for the purpose of completing the multi-cache "Lock and Key Cache(s) - The Hard Version".
